Beautiful song!!
"Highest Place"
Light Up the World
Desperation Band
VERSE 1:
Lord you search me
And you know me
You hear all of my thoughts
No point in hiding
Lord you’ve found me
So completely in need of you
I can not run from you
PRE-CHORUS:
If I go to the heavens or down below
You are right there waiting
If I rise on the wings of the dawn
You are there, I will find you waiting
CHORUS:
You are in the highest place
You are in the falling rain
You are in the mountain peaks
And valley's speak wonders of your name
You are in the perfect sky
You're in every breath I breathe
You're in every moment
life seems to pass me by
you're my prince of peace
VERSE 2:
In the glory
Of your glory
I become like you are
Its over whelming
In the presence
Of your presence
I finally see
All your love, for me
Bridge:
You're everything
You're in everything
You're in every cry
It all ends and starts
with you my king

A Real Moment With Maggie :)
I'm having a "I wish I was on a deserted island" kind of day. I don't think it's a full blown one of those, because I think there are a couple people I would want to go with me, but yeh, an island would be nice.I think when I have these kind of days, it's a me thing more than anything else. I'm either upset because people don't act a way that I would expect them to act or do what I think they should do. The truth is I have absolutely no control over someone else-and boy is that a hard one to grasp!
I remember getting in trouble growing up and my Dad letting me have it, and the thing he would always say was "you want things YOUR way, and only YOUR way, and that's your problem Maggie!" He was so right every single time-even when I didn't want to admit it.
So, yes, I do have "deserted island days", but I know it almost always goes back to the sin that I am dealing with in my own life. People do get on my nerves, but if i really stepped back and asked myself why they get on my nerves, it seems to go back to the fact that they don't do and act how I would want them to act, and thinking like that ALWAYS gets me in trouble.
But doesn't the deserted island seem so nice sometimes!haha

A Great Book!
This book, A Million Miles in a Thousand Years, is amazing! I am almost done with it, and have really enjoyed it. Ben read it two weeks ago. He came home one night and we had the best conversation over dinner about this book. He said I should read it, and I am.If you haven't read it, you need to! Donald Miller is an awesome author!
(on a side note: i took this picture on our ironing board, but was looking at this picture and thought, "that would be a pretty pattern for bed sheets." and there ya have it! haha )

I think these things are pretty cool!

Food for Thought
I really love eating asparagus! BUT, I noticed that after I ate it, something strange happened! It's crazy how the human body works! Read the article below to find out what I am talking about. This is just crazy, gross, and kinda cool all at the same time!
"Asparagus-induced aromatic pee is an event that has always amazed me because it happens so quickly. When you eat asparagus, it goes into the stomach to be broken down by acids in the stomach, just like any other food. The nourishing elements of the meal are absorbed into the blood stream and the food molecules travel through the bloodstream to the liver and kidneys for purification. This is all normal and good. Waste that is collected in the kidneys is excreted in urine. Asparagus, unlike other vegetables, contains asparagusic acid. It is the breakdown of asparagusic acid that creates smelly byproducts.
Here are the details….digestive enzymes break down ingested asparagus and produce methanethiol (or methyl mercaptan), which is believed to be the aromatic culprit in stinky asparagus urine. (However, some scientists believe that a different family of thioesters that are the byproducts of acid reacting with sulfur-containing alcohol are responsible.) The methanethiol waste product is then (somewhat mysteriously) transmitted through the kidney to the urine. Ironically, asparagus is a diuretic, which contributes to the rapidity with which the scented urine exits the body. The aromatic nature of the methanethiol is due to the fact that it is released as a gas when you urinate."

"Nobody Puts Baby In a Corner"!!
The next three are of me and Ben cutting the rug! My hair went up at this point.I was gettin' serious! haha Everybody caught on real fast.
We had a GREAT time!

After our 2-hr session was over, we asked the instructors if they wouldn't mind showing us a dance! They were amazing!
Ben and I absolutley loved this youth worker event! Everyone, ALL the men included, said that the dancing was awesome and that they had a blast! I would encourage everyone to consider this as part of their next get together with their small group, life group, or just as a group of couples! An amazing time was had by all!Friday, November 13, 2009
Number 1
I was in Walmart today, and as I was checking out I used my debit card. It dawned on me, as I was punching in my pin, that the number 1 on the pad was the most worn out number. So I started thinking that I bet for the majority of people, somewhere in their pin is a 1. Most people have a one within their four number pin, and that's why it is so worn out!Kind of random, but that's what came to my mind, and I thought it was a cool observation!
I bet you'll never look at the pin pad the same after reading this! haha

Foods to Enjoy!
These chips are excellent. When we have been to the store, I have left the chip selecting up to Ben, so I can't take credit for getting these. They are really for his lunch that I have been packing faithfully almost everyday! I ate some for lunch yesterday, and oh my goodness, you have to get these! We love anything kettle!Tuesday, November 10, 2009
Alarming Surprise!
Ben being the logical person that he is, is super annoyed that some genius decided to put the detector where it was. Ben asked for a kitchen chair. He had to put it on the chest of drawers to get to the edge where he would then have to crawl on to get to the detector.(All the while half dead asleep)
I am now down below shaking laughing watching Ben get over to the detector.I'm just thinking, "this is really happening right now"! haha
(You can kind of get the idea of how high he had to go to get to
this thing by seeing the top of the bedroom door)
I went to the kitchen to get a 9volt battery and threw it up to Ben. He was trying to get it all changed over, and the annoyingly loud beep would keep on, so I just told him to leave it undone, and he could go back up there later. Hopefully no fires in the near future, because we left it undone so we could just go back to bed!The excitement never dies at the Fleming's!
