I made myself do this! I was ordering myself in my mind that I better do this. I knew I would be disappointed in myself if I hadn't done it. I asked my Dad before I left for the trip, "But what if the line snaps or something bad happens?" and he said "Well Mag, then it's supposed to snap!" You only live ONCE!!!!

We had to hike to get to the first zip-line. The bridges were not the sturdiest things in the world. We were so high up. I was trying not to look down too much, but it was beautiful!

Then, we got to the top and off I went from one mountain to the other, thousands of feet up in the air!
The hardest part was stopping! You had to take one of your hands off and grab the wire. I never really mastered that!
It was awesome!!!
Ben was such a great encourager and a support for me to get through this!

Maggie, did you not cut your hand on the wire? You look like a true zip liner! Well, you DID have alot of practice in your backyard on the one by the tree house! I mean, if you've got it, you've got it! :)
ReplyDeleteHAHA! I remember that yellow zipline that was definitely not ready for what we had in store for it! haha They gave you gloves. One of them(the one that you used to stop) had something hard built into it to slow you down. I mean, what can I say!
